The time, talent and financial support given to The Dalí Museum by donors, members, volunteers, trustees, corporations, foundations, the State, County and City are vital to our ability to serve as the flagship cultural organization in our community.

With generous contributions, we welcomed the community through special exhibits, programs and scholarship – a hub of intellectual and educational activity. Every donor and every gift is critical to fulfilling our mission to preserve Dalí’s work and legacy for generations to come.

Enriching educational experiences and outreach

Through tours, lectures, performances and other cultural events, The Dalí Museum serves the community as a bustling cultural hub. Students of all ages and backgrounds are invited to delight in memorable Dalí-inspired experiences through the Museum’s cultural programming.

In addition to on-site programming, the Museum brings educational experiences directly to students through The Dalí Art Mobile, student field trips and county and statewide Student Surrealist Art Exhibitions with associated curriculum resources. The Museum’s curators also welcome art scholars and publish catalogs and academic papers, including the Museum’s Avant-garde Studies annual online publication.

conserved three paintings

Paintings are created with organic materials that naturally change and age over time, requiring careful attention to preserve their integrity. With support from our Annual Fund Keepers of the Collection donors, we conserved three paintings this year, each with treatments tailored to its needs. Some works were surface cleaned and re-tensioned; others required varnish removal, paint consolidation or the filling of losses. Together, these efforts ensure Dalí’s art remains vibrant and preserved for generations to come.
