Where Is My Member Card Number?
Your member card number is below the barcode on your membership card. If you need help with your member card number, submit a look up request.
How Do I Reserve Member Tickets Or RSVP To Membership Events?
Log in here to make a member reservation. You’ll need to enter your member card number and last name as it appears on the Primary Member’s card when reserving tickets or RSVPing to event invitations.
I’m a member, how often can I reserve tickets?
As a benefit of membership, members can visit free all year. Members can reserve tickets once every 24 hours and are limited to then number of people covered by your membership level. Additional reservations made in one 24-hour period will not be accepted and result in an error. If a member would like to reserve more than one date, please check back on the next date to reserve space for another day. Members walk up reservations are available during Museum operating hours and as space allows. For questions, please email membership@thedali.org.
How Do I Join Or Renew My Membership?
You may renew on our website here or in person at the Admissions Desk. If you have questions, you may call the membership manager at 727.623.4708, Monday-Friday.
You may take advantage of your membership benefits right away by presenting proof of payment and photo ID at the membership desk or utilizing your digital membership card.
What Are The Benefits Of Membership?
Membership benefits include free Museum admission (as available, reservations required) and free parking (as available); discounts for events and programs; discounts in the Museum store and Café Gala.
Additional benefits are available for select levels. For instance, at the Master Level, membership includes everything noted above as well as 8 complimentary guest tickets, exclusive networking opportunities, one private gallery tour for up to 15 guests, annual recognition in the Museum lobby, a 10% discount on use of the Raymond James Community Room, plus a complimentary suite of art prints (selected by staff and based on availability).
How Can I Give Someone A Membership?
Gift Memberships can be purchased online here, over the phone, or at the Museum.
When you purchase a gift membership, it is sent as a gift packet, which includes membership card(s), a Museum brochure and a welcome letter. The purchaser will receive confirmation of payment automatically upon purchase.
What Are The Restrictions On Free Parking?
Parking is free for Dalí Museum members in the Museum lot as space is available, while visiting the Museum. Members without proof of membership will not receive free parking. Members may only park in the Museum lot while visiting the Museum. Members may not leave their vehicle in the lot to visit other attractions.
Reciprocal Guests from other Museums (or NARM) and guests of members do not receive free parking.
Members with expired memberships visiting the Museum to renew memberships must pay for parking.
Am I Able To List A ‘Guest’ On My Membership?
At this time, memberships at the Dual Level and above can list a ‘guest’ as the secondary member, however ‘guests’ cards are not distributed. ‘Guests’ cannot attend without the Primary Member present and ‘Guests’ do not receive certain membership benefits including parking, reciprocal admission, etc.
How Can I Keep Up With Museum Exhibitions, Programs, And Events?
Members who have provided their email address to the Museum will automatically receive a monthly Membership e-Newsletter highlighting various activities and offerings at the Museum. We also suggest you sign up for our Weekly Email Newsletter and check our Events Calendar regularly for the most up-to-date information.
Why Did I Recieve A Digital Card?
Digital cards are issued to all members upon join or renewal to the Primary Member’s email address. If purchasing online, you will be able at check-out to select to receive a physical card as well. The physical card will then be mailed to the Primary Member’s home address.
Do Members Get Special Rates To Events?
Members receive free or reduced admission to a variety of programs and events, including Fundraisers, Junior Docent Summer Camp & more.
Does The Dalí Museum Accept Reciprocal Membership (NARM)?
The Dalí Museum participates in the NARM (North American Reciprocal Membership) program excluding museums within a 50-mile radius of The Dalí. For visits during select special exhibitions, there may be a small entry fee; otherwise visiting NARM members receive free admission for 2 adults and up to 5 children (17 and under) and do not need to make reservations prior to their visit. Visiting NARM members also receive a Museum Store discount as long as they present a current NARM membership card validated with a gold North American Reciprocal sticker, or replica imprint of the NARM sticker (Guests are not included unless they present their own current membership card validate with the accepted NARM identification). The Museum also offers a local reciprocity program to all current Dalí Museum members.
What Local Reciprocal Admissions Does The Dalí Museum Offer?
Local reciprocal programs are monthly partnerships, limited to your membership level. Members of each participating attraction/museum receive free admission through the reciprocal month only. View current reciprocal opportunities here.
Does The Dalí Museum Restrict NARM Benefits Within 50 Miles?
Yes. The Dalí does not accept NARM members from other museums within a 50-mile radius of The Dalí Museum as it could ultimately have a substantial impact on our general visitation, which we rely on to operate the Museum.
There are other local museums that have a similar local restriction for NARM level members including but not limited to: The Tampa Museum of Art, The Imagine Museum, Great Explorations Children’s Museum and The Ringling Museum.
Please note: Some U.S. museums restrict benefits and “Family” benefits and are defined by each participating institution. Please visit the NARM website for more information and/or contact the institution prior to your visit to avoid any confusion.
I have NARM membership from another institution, how do I reserve tickets?
The Dalí Museum participates in the NARM (North American Reciprocal Membership) program excluding museums within a 50-mile radius of The Dalí. For visits during The Shape of Dreams, there is a $10 fee per ticket. Purchase your online timed-ticket here.
How Do I Use My Guest Tickets?
Members at the Dadaist Level and higher receive a quantity of guest tickets each year which may be used for one-time free admission during regular Museum hours, whether or not the member is present. Guest tickets will expire one year after the issue date. Guests tickets do not include parking or any other member benefits.
Can Family Members Or Friends Use My Membership Card?
Membership cards are not transferable; only the cardholder is entitled to use the card. The Primary Member must be present in order for guests to receive any related membership benefits.
What Should I Do If I Lose My Membership Card?
Please visit the Guest Services/Membership Desk at the entrance of the Museum or email the Membership Department at membership@thedali.org to request a replacement card. You may continue to take advantage of your membership benefits by presenting a photo ID at the membership desk. If you need your member number to make reservations, submit a look up request.
What Is The Membership Renewal Process?
Two months prior to your membership expiration, you will receive a renewal reminder via email featuring a link to renew online. If you don’t renew at that time, you will receive a reminder/renewal form via mail 30 to 45 days before your membership is due to expire. Following that, we may reach out again following the expiration of your membership to remind you of all the great benefits of supporting The Dalí.
Why Did I Not Receive My ‘Guest’ Membership Card?
‘Guest’ membership cards are not distributed. The Primary Member is able to make all reservations utilizing solely their membership number.
Is The Dalí Museum A Charitable Organization?
Yes, The Dalí is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
What Is The Difference Between Membership And Gifts To The Annual Operating Fund?
Membership is a benefit-based program that encourages individuals to become active in The Dalí Museum and is partially tax-deductible.
Gifts to the Annual Operating Fund are general support-based gifts and are 100% tax-deductible.
Both programs support the Museum and many individuals participate in both.
Are members required to make online reservations in advance?
Advanced timed-reservations are recommended for members to visit The Dalí.
