This online exhibit brings to life the personal relationships and the intellectual passions that threatened to tear apart the newly formed artistic movement called Surrealism.

SSAE Online Exhibit: Pinellas County 2022

Initiated in 1992, this annual art exhibit presents work by middle and high school students whom we invite to explore ideas and visions similar to those explored by Salvador Dalí and the surrealists. The 2022 theme is “The Metamorphic Moment.”

This exhibit showcases the work of students from the 2022 Fashion Design at The Dalí program. Inspired by The Shape of Dreams, budding high school designers (9th -12th grade) from the Tampa Bay area created tangible connections between art and fashion.

The Dalí’s Dream Art Contest Online Exhibit

In conjunction with the Museum’s special exhibition The Shape of Dreams, we invited the public to share original artwork depicting a story from one of their dreams.

Leonora Carrington Online Exhibit

September 22, 2023 – Indefinitely

This online exhibition focuses on the visionary writer and painter, Leonora Carrington. Her approach to art, found in her writings and image making, was infused with Surrealism yet expands beyond the movement to embrace the influence of myth, folklore, the occult, feminism and religious rituals.
