Ornament-Making at The Dalí

Join us to celebrate the holiday season with an evening of holiday ornament making at The Dalí.
In this hands-on workshop led by Joy Garrett-Douglas, The Dalí’s Education and Community Programming Associate, participants will create their own surreal ornaments featuring imagery inspired by the artwork of Salvador Dalí.

Art and Meditation at The Dalí — Sold Out

Join us to journey inward through art and meditation at The Dalí. Our monthly meditation practice is based on the idea of looking at examples of art to achieve a dynamic stillness of the mind. Each session will examine an artwork from a current exhibition to make us think, refocus, slow down, and go deeper into our minds to permit body connection and awareness.

Dream Journal Workshop at The Dalí — Sold Out

In conjunction with our special exhibition, The Shape of Dreams, join us for a hands-on workshop to create your own personal dream journal. Centered on the idea of creative play, this workshop invites participants to explore the many ways anyone can transform the ethereal feelings, sensations, and images of dreams into a form that we can preserve and reflect upon.

The Art of Collage: A Hands-On Workshop

February 7, 2023 at 6:00pm - 8:00pm

In conjunction with our special exhibition The Shape Of Dreams, we invite you to participate in a hands-on dream collage-making workshop instructed by Margo Hammond. In this workshop participants will first be offered a tour of the special exhibit, followed by a short history of collages in the Raymond James Room. Then, participants are invited to explore their own dreams through collage making.
