In celebration of Black History Month and our upcoming special exhibition, Dalí & the Impressionists: Monet, Renoir, Degas & More, this month’s talk will feature Dr. Dallas Jackson as he explores how the Impressionist Movement provided the foundation many artists and himself use to develop their technical skills.

In conjunction with our special exhibition, Dalí & the Impressionists: Monet, Renoir, Degas & More, Dr. H. Alexander Rich, Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Polk Museum of Art, explores the transformational rise of Impressionism.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of The Dalí’s Junior Docent program, Sumaya Ayad, the Museum’s School Programs Manager, will be joined by several current and former Junior Docents as she explores the lasting impact of a youth arts program.

In conjunction with the special exhibition Dalí’s Floral Fantasies, this month’s talk will feature exhibit curator Peter Tush, who will discuss Dalí’s botanical prints.
