Tyreek McDole, Bandleader/vocals
Tyreek McDole, the gifted 22-year-old swinging vocalist has been lighting up New York City and stages nationwide. With a heavy emphasis on soul, spontaneity, and blues, this Jazz at Lincoln Center Essentially Ellington competition winner has played alongside legends in the business including Rodney Whitaker, Carl Allen, Ted Nash and Theo Croker. McDole now leads his own band with saxophonist Birsa Chatterjee, pianist Miles Lennox, Bassist Dan Finn, and Drummer Christian X McGhee.
