Find answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ) about Membership at The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, FL, USA.

Are Members required to make online reservations in advance?

Advanced timed reservations are recommended for members to visit The Dalí. Members do not need to pre-reserve their visit—you may check in directly at the Museum’s Member Desk.

If you wish to pre-reserve, visit here for Gallery Admission or to purchase your Dalí Alive 360° experience tickets. Timed tickets are recommended for the Dalí Alive 360° experience + Gallery Admission ticket package. You’ll need to enter your Member card number and the last name as it appears on the Primary Member’s card when reserving tickets or RSVPing to event invitations.

You will need to bring your mobile or printed ticket(s) and your Membership Card or confirmation email on your designated date and time of entry.

 

What is my Membership number?

Your Member card number is below the barcode on your Membership card. If you need help with your Member card number, submit a look up request here.

How do I join or renew my Membership?

You may renew your membership on our website, on-site at the Museum’s Member Desk or by mail.

If you have questions, you may call the Membership Manager at 727.623.4708, Monday-Friday.

Upon joining or renewing, Membership benefits begin immediately. Digital cards are automatically sent to the Primary Member’s email address, which can be presented for free parking and Gallery Admission.

What are the benefits of Membership?

Membership benefits include:

Do Members have to pay for the Dalí Alive 360˚ experience?

To provide Members with ample options for their Museum visit, Dalí Alive 360° is a $15 add-on experience for all guests, including Members. Members do receive 50% off Dalí Alive 360° every Wednesday (on-site purchase only).

Membership at The Dalí provides critical support for the Museum and helps further our mission to present the life and works of Salvador Dalí in engaging, accessible ways. Members receive free admission to the Museum galleries, free parking (as available), reciprocal museum admission, Store and Café Gala discounts and more. How can I gift someone a Membership?

Gift Memberships can be purchased online here, over the phone at 727.623.4708 or at the Museum.

The Gift Membership will be sent as a gift packet, which includes Membership card(s), a Museum brochure and a welcome letter. The purchaser (not the recipient) will automatically receive confirmation of payment upon purchase.

Are there restrictions on free parking?

Parking is free for Dalí Museum Members in the Museum lot as space is available. Members without proof of Membership will not receive free parking. Members may only park in the Museum lot while visiting the Museum. Reciprocal guests from other museums, including NARM, and guests of Members do not receive free parking. Those with expired Memberships are encouraged to renew before visiting the Museum or must pay for parking.

Can I list a guest on my Membership?

At this time, Memberships at the Dual Level and above can list a guest as the Secondary Member. However, guest cards are not distributed. Guests cannot attend without the Primary Member present and do not receive certain membership benefits, including parking, reciprocal admission, etc.

How can I keep up with Museum exhibitions, programs and events?

Primary Members will automatically receive a monthly Membership e-newsletter highlighting various activities and offerings at the Museum and in the community. We also suggest you sign up for our Weekly Email Newsletter and regularly check our Events Calendar for the most up-to-date information.

Why did I receive a digital card?

Digital cards are automatically issued to the Primary Member’s email upon joining or renewing membership. If purchasing online, you can choose to receive a physical card during the checkout process. The physical card will be mailed to the Primary Member’s home address.

Does The Dalí Museum accept Reciprocal Membership (NARM)?

The Dalí Museum participates in the NARM (North American Reciprocal Membership) program, excluding museums within a 50-mile radius of The Dalí. Otherwise, visiting NARM members receive free Gallery Admission for 2 adults and up to 5 children (17 and under) and do not need to make reservations before their visit.

The Dalí Alive 360° experience is a $15 add-on experience for all guests, including NARM members. Visiting NARM members also receive a Museum Store discount as long as they present a current NARM membership card validated with a gold North American Reciprocal sticker or replica imprint of the NARM sticker. Guests are not included unless they present their current membership card validated with the appropriate NARM identification.

What local reciprocal admissions does The Dalí Museum offer?

The Museum’s reciprocal program is a monthly partnership, limited to your Membership level. Members of each participating attraction or museum receive free admission through the reciprocal month only. Additional add-ons or special exhibitions may not be included. Can family members or friends use my Membership card?

No. Membership cards are not transferable, and only the cardholder is entitled to use it. The Primary Member must be present for guests to receive any related Membership benefits.

What should I do if I lose my Membership card?

Please visit the Museum’s Member Desk or email the Membership Department at membership@thedali.org to request a replacement card. You may also continue to take advantage of your Membership benefits by presenting your digital Membership card that was emailed to the Primary Member upon joining or renewing.

Why did I not receive my guest Membership card?

Guest membership cards are not distributed. The Primary Member can make reservations utilizing their membership number solely.
