Inspired By Horst Contest

Horst P. Horst ranked alongside Irving Penn and Richard Avedon as one of the last century’s leading photographers. In an extraordinary sixty-year career, Horst’s photographs graced the pages of Vogue and House and Garden and he became renowned as a master of expressive lighting and atmospheric illusion.

In honor of Horst’s unique and iconic approach to photography we present our #InspiredByHorst image contest, a complement to our current exhibition, Horst: Photographs – Fashion and Surrealism. This contest gives viewers  an opportunity to reinterpret some of Horst’s most legendary captures.

The Contest runs 7.29-8.25.16.
The grand prize winner will receive a family membership to the Museum.
Second and third-place winners will each receive two single-day admission tickets to the Museum.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

To enter the Contest, all you have to do is:
1. Follow @dalimuseum on Instagram
2. Familiarize yourself with the work of iconic photographer Horst P. Horst
3. Submit up to three original Horst-inspired photos on Instagram
4. Hashtag your entry/ies #InspiredByHorst and tag @dalimuseum
