Fashion Design at The Dalí 2020 Online Exhibit

September 13, 2020 – January 1, 2022

This exhibit showcases the work of students from the 2020 Fashion Design at The Dalí program. Inspired by Dalí’s film projects, budding high school designers (9th -12th grade) from the Tampa Bay area created tangible connections between, art, film, and fashion.

Initiated in 1992, this annual art exhibit presents work by middle and high school students whom we invite to explore ideas and visions similar to those explored by Salvador Dalí and the surrealists. The 2021 theme is “Delusions, Desires and Delicacies.”

Paint Your Bedroom Contest Online Exhibit

April 19, 2021 – March 1, 2022

While traditionally associated with sleeping, during the global pandemic, the bedroom became our place of business, relaxation, festivity and imagination. In light of these shifts, and inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s celebrated post-impressionist The Bedroom in Arles, painted in 1888, we invited the public to share the (Van Gogh-inspired) impressions of their bedroom in The Dalí’s Paint Your Bedroom Contest, in conjunction with the Museum’s Van Gogh Alive special exhibition.
