Van Gogh's Painting, The Bedroom in Arles

Paint Your Bedroom Contest Online Exhibit

April 19, 2021 – March 1, 2022

While traditionally associated with sleeping, during the global pandemic, the bedroom became our place of business, relaxation, festivity and imagination. In light of these shifts, and inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s celebrated post-impressionist The Bedroom in Arles, painted in 1888, we invited the public to share the (Van Gogh-inspired) impressions of their bedroom in The Dalí’s Paint Your Bedroom Contest, in conjunction with the Museum’s Van Gogh Alive special exhibition.
