workshop: iphone photography

In conjunction with our special exhibition, Dalí in America, we invite you to join us for an engaging introduction to Black and White iPhone photography with Michelle Cornejo.
The workshop will begin with a viewing of Dalí in America, followed by a hands-on session exploring shooting and editing techniques for black-and-white iPhone photography, along with a brief discussion on what makes a compelling photograph. Topics will include tonal translation, subject matter, contrast, filters and saturation, with time to experiment using in-phone editing tools. The workshop will conclude with a short Q&A session.
This workshop is designed specifically for iPhone 13 or later models.
Location: The Dalí Museum’s Raymond James Community Room

Michelle Cornejo
Michelle is an Ecuadorian American photographer, educator, producer, educator, and adventurer. She has a BA from Loyola University New Orleans and an MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design. She has over 2 decades of experience in the field, including roles as university professor, National Geographic expeditions leader, photo and video producer, photo editor, freelance photographer, video production manager, photo assistant, workshop instructor, business coach, and exhibiting artist. She has traveled to 27 countries (and counting), is an avid gardener, and loves the outdoors. She lives in Florida with her husband and fur babies.
