Junior Docent deliver final tour

Junior Docent Art Camp 2024 — Middle School (SOLD OUT)

June 17 @ 9:15am June 21 @ 4:15pm

Become a Junior Docent at The Dalí Museum’s weeklong camp where attendees discover new ways to interpret and create art, meet new friends and have fun in the Museum. This year’s theme, “Brilliant Brushes to Beautiful Blooms,” will focus on how Dalí reimagined natural subjects within his art, especially as symbols with personal and cultural meaning.

Students who attend Junior Docent Art Camp build a foundation in art by learning how to look at and talk about art through The Dalí’s collection. As students create their own art, they explore Dalí’s techniques, interpret his works in the Museum and become familiar with Dalí’s life and interests. Please note: the “middle school” distinction is based on the grades the student completed in May 2024 (completed 6-8).

Schedule (9:15am-4:15pm daily)
Our in-person drop off begins at 9am daily with camp beginning at 9:15am. Pick-up runs from 4:15-4:30pm. Students will be provided with snack during two daily breaks and must bring their lunch Monday through Thursday. On Friday, a pizza lunch will be provided. From 3-5:30pm on Friday, junior docent family members are invited to the Museum for a reception and gallery tour.
