As we celebrate food and all it means during our special exhibition Ferran Adria: The Invention of Food, we must acknowledge that for some, food is not the subject for discourse or experimentation, but a very real necessity which is all too often lacking.
In our own county, the statistics are sobering: 1 in 7 adults in Pinellas County do not have consistent access to the food they need and 17% of Pinellas County residents, including 1 in 4 children, are food insecure.
The Dalí Museum is joining forces with Publix in the fight against hunger.
