Student Surrealist Art Exhibit Online: 2024 Pinellas County

Initiated in 1985, this annual juried art exhibition presents work by Florida middle and high school students invited to explore ideas inspired by the work of Salvador Dalí and Surrealism. Students are asked to experiment with such surrealist techniques as visual transformation, dislocation and symbolism. This exhibit is one of three annual student exhibits featured at The Dalí Museum in 2024.

Leonora Carrington Online Exhibit

This online exhibition focuses on the visionary writer and painter, Leonora Carrington. Her approach to art, found in her writings and image making, was infused with Surrealism yet expands beyond the movement to embrace the influence of myth, folklore, the occult, feminism and religious rituals.

Dalí & the Impressionists: Monet, Renoir, Degas & More

November 18, 2023 – April 28, 2024

Dalí & the Impressionists: Monet, Renoir, Degas & More explores Salvador Dalí’s profound engagement with the Impressionist movement, which played a pivotal role in his early artistic journey. Organized in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, one of the foremost collections of French Impressionism in the United States, this exhibition will present an outstanding selection of 22 paintings from their collection by 18 artists, including Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Henri Matisse and Paul Cézanne.
