Special Presentation
St. Petersburg–based artist and SHINE Mural Festival co-founder BASK returns to The Dalí with An Ode to the Collectors, a richly layered mural honoring Museum founders A. Reynolds and Eleanor Morse and their enduring friendship with Salvador Dalí. Blending pop art and social commentary, BASK celebrates the collectors whose passion helped bring Dalí’s work to St. Petersburg.
The presentation also marks a full-circle moment for the artist, whose connection to The Dalí began in the 1990s when he volunteered at the Museum while completing community service, an experience that helped shape his early artistic journey. Now a defining presence in St. Petersburg’s arts community, BASK brings this piece back into public view at the Museum, first created for the Museum’s 2025 special exhibition, Outside In: New Murals Inspired by Dalí.
