Edible Surrealism: A Dalí-Inspired Culinary Competition

In conjunction with our special exhibition Dalí in America, The Chef Upstairs presents Edible Surrealism—a culinary-art experience inspired by Salvador Dalí’s Dizzy Dalí Dinner (1941), reimagined as an interactive plated competition. Hosted at The Foodie Labs, this guided, high-energy event blends food, art and imagination.
This one of a kind experience is a curated artistic competition, where plating becomes the medium and Dalí the muse. Team up to create a surreal, show-stopping hors d’oeuvre, guided by professional chefs and artistic inspiration drawn from Dalí himself. You’ll design, plate and perform.
