An Evening of Art & Food with Chef Chuck Bandel

October 7 @ 6:00pm 8:30pm

“beauty should be edible, or not at all”

In conjunction with our special exhibition, Reimagining Nature: Dalí’s Floral Fantasies, we invite you to a special evening of art and food tastings inspired by the fruits and flowers showcased in Dalí’s print suites from the late 60s and early 70s. Inspired by Dalí’s assertion that “Beauty should be edible, or not at all,” our very own Chef Chuck Bandel of Café Gala will create a tasting menu sure to delight the eye and palate.

You’ll begin with an exclusive viewing of the special exhibition, including the three major fruits and flowers suites from the Museum’s vault, where Dalí painted over original botanical illustrations to create his own surreal images, such as those by the 18- and 19th-century artists Pierre-Antoine Poiteau and Pierre-Joseph Redouté.

Afterwards, you’ll head to The Dome to enjoy a selection of delicious bites curated by Chef Chuck Bandel, accompanied by surreal entertainment to create a multi-sensory experience guaranteed to delight all of the senses. Our house white and red wines will be served to accompany the bites.

Location: The Dalí Museum
Tickets: $70 for Museum members | $80 for non-members
Gallery access included.
