Win a Trip for Two in The Dalí’s Fashion Design Challenge

with surreal style inspired by Dalí & Schiaparelli

We are celebrating our special exhibition Dalí & Schiaparelli by encouraging everyone to examine the nexus of art and fashion, and how style – one’s choices as to how to wear the world and be seen by it – is a part of our everyday lives.

Complementary to Fashion Design at The Dalí, an onsite educational program for Florida high school students, the Museum presents The Dalí’s Fashion Design Challenge, an online contest opportunity for aspiring and established designers to create a new piece of fashion inspired by Dali’s artwork.

The winning designer will win an expense-paid trip to St. Petersburg, Florida, courtesy of Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, to enjoy the Dalí & Schiaparelli exhibition and to explore the Tampa Bay area. (Local winner will receive a staycation package.) The winning design will be displayed alongside designs from Fashion Design at The Dalí in a special exhibition in the Museum’s Raymond James Community Room from December 10, 2017 through January 1, 2018.

You may enter the Fashion Design Challenge from September 28-November 16, 2017 by simply:
1. Choosing one or more Dalí works as inspiration
2. Sketching or creating an original design
3. Uploading your original design and description here:

Eligibility Requirements
The Contest is open to residents of the 50 United States and its territories who are at least 13 years old at the time of entry. All entries must be original designs, posted by Friday November 16, 2017, at noon ET. Please read the complete Rules here. No purchase necessary to enter or win. The Contest has no affiliation with Facebook, Instagram or any other third-party platform. We reserve the right to change these Rules at any time.
