Only at The Dalí in Full Surround: Van Gogh Alive 360°

ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. — Beginning on Oct. 11 at The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Fla., visitors can step into Vincent van Gogh’s vivid world, gloriously reimagined in The Dalí Dome during Van Gogh Alive 360°. Customized for The Dalí’s awe-inspiring dome, which stands 39 feet high and spans 60 feet wide, Van Gogh’s masterpieces unfold around you in the world’s most visited multi-sensory experience. After 110 international tours and over 10.5 million visitors, this never-before-seen version adapted for The Dalí Dome continues the Museum’s tradition of breaking barriers in art presentation.

Created and produced for The Dalí by Grande Experiences, Van Gogh Alive 360° invites visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in Van Gogh’s world in a sensory rich environment. Inside The Dalí Dome, luminous color, fluid motion and orchestral sound transform the artist’s masterpieces into a circular canvas. Hyper-detailed projections surround viewers from his earliest explorations to iconic works such as Sunflowers and Starry Night, paired with excerpts from Van Gogh’s emotional letters that illuminate his artistic journey.

The Dalí Dome combines state-of-the-art projections and surround sound to immerse visitors in a true 360-degree experience. The Dalí remains the only venue offering both the world-renowned Van Gogh Alive 360° experience and its own acclaimed Dalí Alive 360°—bringing two visionaries under one dome and reinforcing the Museum’s commitment to innovation and education.

“Salvador Dalí and Vincent van Gogh both revealed a reality beyond the visible world,” said The Dalí Museum Executive Director Hank Hine. “They both remind us that to truly see the world, we must look into our own heart.”

By day, Van Gogh Alive 360° expands the Museum experience with access to The Dalí’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. By night, The Dome takes center stage during Starry Nights in The Dalí Dome, a standalone experience which includes a complimentary drink from Café Gala.
