The Palazzo Blu Foundation presents the exhibition Dalí: Il Sogno del Classico, in collaboration with the Fundación Gala-Salvador Dalí and MondoMostre. Curated by Montse Aguer, Director of Dalí Museums, it offers the public the great work of the Spanish master, through a targeted selection of important works that show the great inspiration that Dalì draws from the Italian tradition and from the great masters especially Renaissance.
On display in the splendid setting of Palazzo Blu, 150 works including paintings, watercolors and woodcuts amply testify to the omnipresence of the classical legacy within Dalì’s artistic production. The viewer is called to a poetic and memorable dialogue with the always original, eccentric and brilliant Dalì, who loves the great Italian Masters, cites Raphael, tells Cellini, illustrates Dante, and paints Michelangelo.
