Surreal Summer Nights At The Dalí

Join us for Surreal Summer Nights at The Dalí as we celebrate community accessibility through an evening of art, music and creative connection. Enjoy live beats from DJ Ace Vedo, sip on a signature drink from Café Gala, create your own work of art and explore the Museum galleries for a refreshingly cool escape.
This month’s featured activity is a collage-making experience led by our Community Partner, the Pinellas Diaspora Arts Project, exploring the power of creativity to bring people together and foster a more inclusive, accessible community. Guests can also visit an information table highlighting Strongward, a resource for local residents, volunteers, businesses and community partners seeking long-term disaster recovery support.
Explore our permanent collection of Dalí’s works, as well as our special exhibitions, Dalí in America and The Architecture of The Dalí for half-off Gallery Admission after 5pm.
Make the most of your Thursday evening by adding a show in The Dalí Dome to your visit for just $15. Choose between Dalí Alive 360° at 5:30pm or Surreal Nature at 6:30pm.
Access to the Museum’s ground floor, including the Café, Store and Avant-garden is free and open to the public. A Gallery Admission ticket is required to access the galleries.
DJ Ace Vedo is an award-winning DJ/Producer located in Central Florida. She has been DJing for over 15 years and producing music for 6 years. She has traveled all over the country, sharing her talents in various states, occasions and settings. She is currently an open format DJ, but is working towards specializing in Afro House music.
Pinellas Diaspora Arts Project, Inc. (PDAP) strengthens the well-being of communities in Tampa Bay by expanding access to arts, technology, media, and civic exchange. We create opportunities for people of all ages to participate in creative and educational experiences in effort to inspire personal growth, community connection and lifelong learning.

Strongward was born in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, in the silence after the cameras left, where a short-term effort turned into a long-term mission and a proven model. Our current capability was built deliberately over dozens of disasters over 20 years, beginning with a critical donation of drywall from local partners that sparked two decades of partnership with the organizations and companies that make recovery possible. To scale beyond New Orleans, the organization built the Strongward Method, based on the problem-solving culture of our partners at Toyota. Our disciplined operational model allowed us to expand to communities across the country, ultimately rebuilding thousands of homes while maintaining a 4-star Charity Navigator rating. Today, that mission continues here in Tampa Bay, where Strongward works alongside local residents, volunteers, businesses, and community partners to help families recover from hurricanes and strengthen the region’s resilience for whatever comes next. Twenty years later, we do not settle merely for restoring what was. We help communities, including our neighbors across Tampa Bay, emerge Stronger Than Before.
