Ornament Making at The Dalí

Join us to celebrate the holiday season with an evening of holiday ornament making at The Dalí.

In this hands-on workshop led by Joy Garrett-Douglas, The Dalí’s Community Programming and Education Manager, participants will create their own surreal ornaments featuring imagery inspired by our upcoming special exhibition, The Subversive Eye: Surrealist and Experimental Photography from the David Raymond Collection.

Joy Garrett-Douglas, Community Programming and Education Manager

Joy Garrett-Douglas is no stranger to the Museum. Initially joining as a Junior Docent, continuing as a teen volunteer before going to college and having interned in the Fall 2019 Semester for the Education Department—she has grown with the Museum. Joy graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History and Sculpture. Joy has a passion for art, history, museums and the enigma of Salvador Dalí.
