
Ornament Making at The Dalí

Join us to celebrate the holiday season with an evening of holiday ornament making at The Dalí.
In this hands-on workshop led by Joy Garrett-Douglas, The Dalí’s Community Programming and Education Manager, participants will create their own surreal ornaments featuring imagery inspired by our special exhibition, Alberto Giacometti & Salvador Dalí.
Location: The Dalí Museum’s Raymond James Community Room

Joy Garrett-Douglas, Community Programming and Education Manager
Joy Garrett-Douglasis no stranger to the Museum. Her journey began as a Junior Docent, continued through her time as a teen volunteer, and evolved into a formal internship with the Education Department during the Fall 2019 semester. Joy has truly grown alongside the institution. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture with a minor in Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Joy brings a deep passion for art, history, museums, and the enduring enigma of Salvador Dalí.
