The evening will feature a brief introduction and Q&A with Emmy Award-winning writer and producer Christopher Ward, offering a lively look at Buñuel’s enduringly strange and subversive masterpiece.

A group of six friends – three men and three women decidedly of the French Upper Middle Class – have their dinner plans continually interrupted due to a series of bizarre events that can only be described as Buñuelian.
Christopher Ward’s work as writer/producer has been seen on HBO, Showtime, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. His critically acclaimed documentary, Outwitting Hitler, has been distributed all over the world, and is currently available on Amazon Prime. He has two EMMY awards. Christopher also wrote and directed The Independents; a two act play about the artists Mary Cassatt and Edgar Degas, which ran successfully Off Broadway 2019/2020. He currently teaches film and television at The University of Tampa.
