This month, step inside the imaginations of featured artists from Outside In: New Murals Inspired by Dalí. Chad Mize, Miss Crit and Naomi Haverland reveal the stories, symbolism and creative sparks behind their murals.

Discover how each artist channels the surreal spirit of Salvador Dalí into bold, contemporary expressions and explore the unexpected ways Dalí’s legacy continues to influence the art of today.

Chad Mize is a St. Petersburg-based multimedia artist, designer and muralist known for his playful blend of humor, bold patterns and cultural commentary. A key figure in the local arts scene, he opened MIZE Gallery in 2018 and later launched the curatorial project SPACE. Mize has collaborated with major brands including Disney, Facebook and the Tampa Bay Lightning, and his work is held in collections around the world.

Blending fine art techniques, digital design, and narrative storytelling, she creates playful imagery that invites personal interpretation. Her practice spans drawings, paintings, murals, and interactive installations—all designed to enchant viewers and empower them to imagine their own stories.
