Los Vinos de Dali – Back and Bigger Than Ever
The Dali Museum’s Wine & Food Event Celebrates Sixth Year
ST. PETERSBURG, FLA (March 24, 2017) – Raise a glass (or two) to welcome spring as The Dali proudly hosts its highly anticipated sixth annual signature wine and food tasting, Los Vinos de Dali, on Sunday April 2 from 4-7pm. Guests will experience a variety of fine wines, plus delectable tastings from the area’s top restaurants as well as live music by Boxcar Hollow. This year’s event takes place on the plaza between the Museum and the Mahaffey Theater on the picturesque downtown waterfront. Tickets to the event also include access to the Museum’s galleries throughout the day from 10am-5:30pm including the enchanting Frida Kahlo at The Dali exhibition, now in its final weeks. The Museum’s Avant-garden, with its monumental homage to Frida’s garden at her home in Mexico, will also be open for guests to stroll, sip and socialize in.
To delight a variety of palettes, Los Vinos de Dali festivities are expanding to include Florida wineries, craft beer breweries, distilleries and a specialty cocktail. The culinary offerings feature new and more restaurants plus some returning favorites. Guests will enjoy beverages and bites from Castile at Hotel Zamora, Cigar City Brewing, FarmTable Kitchen, Kozuba & Sons Craft Distillery, Michael’s On East, Pinellas Ale Works, Proper, Sea Salt, San Sebastian Winery, Swah-Rey, The Birchwood, The Mandarin Hide, UPTick Vineyards and many more. Attendees will also enjoy auctions featuring travel experiences, indulgent health & wellness packages, beautiful jewelry, unique artwork, exclusive dining packages and more.
Los Vinos de Dali is supported by Publix Super Markets Charities, Carlos & Beverly Yepes and Mary Ann & Brad Morse; and Schwab Charitable Fund, Joseph Hodges & Steven Armstrong, Cynthia Faulhaber, William & Ann Edwards, Maserati–Alfa Romeo of St. Petersburg, The Broadrick Family Foundation, Fifth Third Bank and Betsy Schweitzer. Proceeds from the event benefit the Museum and its wide variety of educational programs. Tickets begin at $75 for Museum members and $90 for nonmembers and include access to all tastings, plus entry to the Museum’s galleries from 10am-5:30pm.
