Every visit to The Dali reveals something unique that will expand your mind the way only Salvador Dali can. Creative energy is sown over every inch of our grounds, and we encourage you to either explore it at your own pace with maps and family gallery hunts or take a guided tour. We offer free docent-led public tours of the galleries and a special architectural building tour on weekends. We also offer private docent-led tours for an additional fee in many languages with advanced reservations.

Architecture Tours (free with admission)
The Dali’s building combines the rational with the fantastical: a simple rectangle with 18-inch thick hurricane-proof walls out of which erupts a large free-form geodesic glass bubble. Inside stands a three-story helical staircase recalling Dali’s obsession with the double helical shape of the DNA molecule. The gardens create a unique environment of learning and tranquility. Explore the building and learn more about this architectural wonder that AOL Travel named “One of the top ten buildings to see in your lifetime.”   Regular admission is required. Please meet approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour in the “Overlook” on the third floor.

  • Saturday: 1:45pm
  • Sunday: 12:45pm and 1:45pm

Private Docent Tours (additional fee)
Private docent-led tours with privacy headsets are available with advanced notice. These tours can encompass the entire collection; focus on specific areas of interest such as mathematics, science, psychology and religion; or try our popular “Provoca-Tour” which delves into the more provocative subjects in Dali’s works. We offer private tours in English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Italian and Japanese. To learn more or to schedule your tour, please contact groups@thedali.org or call 727.623.4778. Private tours require 48 hours’ notice.

Audio Guides (free with admission)
Complimentary audio guides are available on a first come, first served basis. Guides are available in English, German, Spanish, French and a playful “Mr. Mustache” Tour designed especially for younger visitors (best for ages 5–13; available in English).
