“I surrendered myself to a brief fantasy during which I imagined sculptures of the two figures in Millet’s ‘Angelus’ carved out of the highest rocks…”
When visiting The Dali, experience a remarkable marriage of art and technology as you go inside and beyond Dali’s 1935 painting Archaeological Reminiscence of Millet’s “Angelus”.
Dreams of Dali is open daily from 11am-4pm (until 8pm on Thursdays) and is included with your admission to the Museum.
You’ll explore the world of the Surrealist master like never before in this immersive Virtual Reality experience, venturing into the towers, peering from them to distant lands and discovering surprises around every corner. We imagine Dali himself, known in his lifetime as what we now call an “earlier adopter” of new technology, would applaud this inspiring homage to his 1935 painting.
This award-winning VR experience has garnered visitor acclaim, online praise and international recognition through a multitude of industry awards, including the prestigious Cannes Cyber Lion GOLD; a Webby People’s Voice award; and a Facebook Silver award for Innovation, among others.
When you can’t visit The Dali in person, view the companion 360° video. We recommend viewing on an Android with Google Cardboard or another VR device or on an iPhone via the YouTube app. From a desktop PC, we recommend viewing in the latest version of Chrome.
