Does The Dali Museum Accept Reciprocal Membership?

The Dali Museum participates in the NARM (North American Reciprocal Membership) program excluding museums within a 50-mile radius of The Dali, and offers a local monthly reciprocity program. NARM members receive free admission for 2 adults and up to 5 children (17 and under) and a Museum Store discount as long as they present a current NARM membership card validated with a gold North American Reciprocal sticker, or replica imprint of the NARM sticker. Guests are not included unless they present their own current membership card validated with the accepted NARM identification.

Please note: The Dali Museum restricts NARM privileges to members of other institutions within a 50 mile radius. Be sure to call ahead of your visit to confirm policies for admittance.

What Local Reciprocal Admissions Does The Dali Museum Offer?

Local reciprocal programs are monthly partnerships, limited to 2 adult admissions and up to 5 children for the month. Members of each participating attraction/museum receive free admission through the reciprocal month only.

Does The Dali Museum Restrict NARM Benefits Within 50 Miles?

Yes. The Dali does not accept NARM members from other museums within a 50-mile radius of The Dali Museum as it could ultimately have a substantial impact on our general visitation, which we rely on to operate the Museum.

There are four local museums that have a similar local restriction for our NARM level members including: The Tampa Museum of Art, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Great Explorations Children’s Museum and The Ringling Museum.

Please note: Some U.S. museums restrict benefits and “Family” benefits and are defined by each participating institution. Please visit the NARM website for more information and/or contact the institution prior to your visit to avoid any confusion.

How Do I Use My Guest Passes?

Members at the Dadaist Level and higher receive a quantity of guest passes each year which may be used for one-time free admission during regular Museum hours, whether or not the member is present. Guest passes will expire one year after the issue date. These guest passes cannot be used for admission to members-only previews and do not entitle the user to a Museum Store discount or other member benefits.

Can Family Members Or Friends Use My Membership Card?

Membership cards are not transferable; only the cardholder is entitled to use the card. The primary member must be present in order for guests to receive any related membership benefits.

What Should I Do If I Lose My Membership Card?

Please visit the Guest Services/Membership Desk at the entrance of the Museum or email the Membership Department at membership@thedali.org to request a replacement card. You may continue to take advantage of your membership benefits by presenting a photo ID at the membership desk.

What Is The Membership Renewal Process?

Two months prior to your membership expiration, you will receive a renewal reminder via email featuring a link to renew online. If you don't renew at that time, you will receive a reminder/renewal form via mail 30 to 45 days before your membership is due to expire. Following that, we may reach out again following the expiration of your membership to remind you of all the great benefits of supporting The Dali.

Does My Gift Qualify For Corporate Matching Gifts?

Many corporations have matching gift programs for their employees, retirees and board members that will double and in some cases triple the portion of your gift that is tax deductible. This extra support is very much appreciated. Please contact your employer to obtain and submit an appropriate matching gift form.

Is The Dali Museum A Charitable Organization?

Yes, The Dali is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

What Is The Difference Between Membership And Gifts To The Annual Operating Fund?

Membership is a benefit-based program that encourages individuals to become active in The Dali Museum and is partially tax-deductible.

Gifts to the Annual Operating Fund are general support-based gifts and are 100% tax-deductible.

Both programs support the Museum and many individuals participate in both.
