Ora D. Tanner is the Co-Founder and Chief Learning Officer at The AI Education Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit centering equity and accessibility in AI education. She previously worked as a nuclear physicist, science educator and as a doctoral researcher on NSF-funded grant projects related to game-based learning and assessment.
Ora earned both a B.S. and M.S. in physics and is working to complete a Ph.D in instructional technology. More recently, she was a Fellow with the Aspen Tech Policy Hub and the Alliance of Democracies Transatlantic Commission on Election Integrity. Ora has presented at numerous conferences, summits, and trainings and spoken on panels as an edtech expert. Her work has been recognized in Forbes, Tampa Bay Inno, CMSWire, CBS, CNBC, and the University of South Florida College of Education.
