Spirits of the Age: An Evening of Art and Tastings
August 21, 2021 @ 7:00pm – 10:00pm
Join us for Spirits of the Age: An Evening of Art and Tastings. In partnership with local distilleries — Dark Door Spirits, Florida Cane, Kozuba & Sons Distillery, St. Petersburg Distillery and the Tampa Bay Rum Company — we invite you to a special evening of art and spirit tasting inspired by a rich period of U.S. history.
Collectively known as the Modern Age, The Roaring 20s, Prohibition and the wartime years of the 1940s encompassed a complex and fascinating period of our history, including the history of liquor. Partake and immerse yourself in Lee Miller’s photographic record of the times while also learning about the spirits of the Modern Age, including stories and tastings provided by our distillery partners.
As a part of the event, you will enjoy exclusive after-hours access to The Woman Who Broke Boundaries: Photographer Lee Miller exhibition, live music, a photo opportunity and other surreal surprises. In addition to tastings of the top-notch products from Dark Door Spirits, Florida Cane, Kozuba, the St. Petersburg Distillery and the Tampa Bay Rum Company, you will receive one complimentary signature cocktail. Light fare, beer, wine and other beverages from Café Gala will be available for purchase.
This event is for our guests 21 years of age and over.
Museum Members: $50 (MEMBER CARD NUMBER necessary to purchase. Don’t see it on your card? Click here.)
