ln conjunction with our special exhibition The Visit, join us for an exploration of Surrealism and avant-garde Contemporary Art, in a hands-on workshop at The Dalí.

In this beginners workshop led by Joy Garrett-Douglas, Education and Community Programming Associate at The Dalí, participants will create blind drawings, a decalcomania painting and a Aleatorio Cardinal [Cardinal Random], 2021 inspired mixed media painting. This workshop is designed for young adults and above.

Location: The Dalí Museum’s Raymond James Community Room
Tickets: $15 for Museum members | $20 for non-members

Joy Garrett-Douglas, Education and Community Programming Associate

Joy Garrett-Douglas is no stranger to the Museum. Initially joining as a Junior Docent, continuing as a teen volunteer before going to college, and having interned in the Fall 2019 Semester for the Education Department – she has grown with the Museum. Joy graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture and Art History. Joy has a passion for art, history, museums and the enigma of Salvador Dalí.
