Celebrate National Poetry Month with The Dalí. Join us on YouTube for a streaming installment of our Poetry at The Dalí series, featuring Major and Didi Jackson.
Poetry at The Dalí is an ongoing series hosted by St. Petersburg Poet Laureate, Helen Wallace. Occurring on the second Thursday of each month through May 2021, each evening will feature Wallace joined by selected poets. Following the reading, there will be a Q&A with the poets.
Major Jackson is the author of The Absurd Man. His edited volumes include: Best American Poetry 2019, Renga for Obama, and Library of America’s Countee Cullen: Collected Poems. He is the Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Chair in the Humanities at Vanderbilt University. He serves as the poetry editor of the Harvard Review.
Didi Jackson is the author of MOON JAR (Red Hen Press, 2020). Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, New England Review, and Kenyon Review. She lives in Nashville, TN and teaches creative writing at Vanderbilt University.
