Plastic Art and Marine Debris Workshop

Saturday, Sep. 13, 10am–12pm
  • This event has passed.

Can you ‘sea’ the unseen? Join us at this free art workshop and have fun making community art from reclaimed and recycled plastics. Help turn marine debris into a dramatic presence on land with a large scale experiential sculpture that mimics an ocean gyre. The created art will be integrated into the St. Petersburg Current Collections Public Sculpture that will debut at the St. Petersburg Science Festival, Oct. 17, 2014.

Take part in this hands-on making a difference project. RSVP preferred but not required: Email info@seatheunseen.com to reserve a spot.  All Skill Levels Welcome!

For more information, check out www.seatheunseen.com.

Cost: Free ($5 parking fee)

Location: Raymond James Community Room
