Tenor Wayne Hobbs is originally from Vergennes, VT; most recently, he was an ensemble member and soloist in St. Petersburg Opera’s 2019 Holiday Sparkle. Wayne was also the Chorus Master for SPO’s production of The Merry Widow. Past engagements: At La Scala: Lorin Maazel’s 1984, Syme; New York City Opera: Margaret Garner, Slave Auctioneer; Broadway: The Phantom of the Opera: Ubaldo Piangi; Recent Engagements: Green Mountain Mahler Festival Orchestra – soloist, Beethoven Symphony No. 9; Bayerische Philharmonie – soloist, Verdi’s Requiem.
