Members are invited to an exclusive preview and evening reception to celebrate the opening of Dali/Duchamp. The exhibit invites visitors to examine the relationship between Salvador Dali and the father of conceptual art, Marcel Duchamp. The first exhibit dedicated to their friendship and its influence on the work of both artists, Dali/Duchamp explore the common ground, both personal and aesthetic, shared by these two modern icons. The exhibit brings together around 60 works, including some of Dali’s most inspired and technically accomplished paintings and sculptures, and Duchamp’s ground breaking assemblages and ready-mades.
This exhibition contains challenging images, including adult content. No photos, video or recording.
Join us for an after dinner toast. Enjoy light desserts, live music and a cash bar.
Cost: Free for members, $10 for their guests (due to space, we are limited to one guest per member for this event.)
Parking: Free for members, as available; $10 parking for non-members.
Members may also preview the exhibit during regular Museum hours on Wed, Thurs & Fri, Feb 7-9. Learn more.
For dining prior to the reception…
