Coffee with a Curator

August 3 @ 10:30am – 11:30am
behind the scenes at the dalí
Join us for this installment of our Coffee With A Curator series, where Museum Staff or invited guests speak on a range of Dalí-inspired topics. This month’s lecture will feature several members of our “behind-the-scenes” staff, including members of our security, shipping, and warehouse teams, among others. In the talk, these staff members will reflect on their favorite works and share anecdotes about their experiences.
In addition to providing a unique showcase for the voices of staff members who traditionally work behind the scenes, it’s also a valuable opportunity to see Dali’s work through the eyes of non-curatorial staff members—highlighting multiple perspectives and rich, complex interpretations. Across the organization, our staff have amazing personal experiences and deep knowledge that they bring to bear on their interpretation of works in our permanent collection, and they will be sharing many of these insights during this month’s Coffee With A Curator.
Location: The Dalí Museum’s Will Raymund Theater (registration required), with overflow seating available in the Raymond James Community Room or live on YouTube (link below).
Register to attend in person at the link below. This event is free, with limited capacity. An event ticket is required for entry. Gallery access is not included.
