JOB TITLE: Social Media Content Producer
REPORTS TO: Curator of Rhetoric
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
FLSA STATUS: Exempt

OVERVIEW
The Social Media Content Producer is responsible for creation, deployment and management of content for The Dalí’s social media properties; the analysis and reporting of social media performance; assisting with content management of TheDali.org; assisting with creation and deployment of marketing emails; maintaining currency of Museum partner-site listings; and distribution of monthly event listings to media contacts.

This position works on multiple projects and will collaborate with others within the organization, including working closely with Museum IT staff, CRM/Marketing department, web development vendors, PR/Media partners, Visitor Experience department, in-house and external videographers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media

  • Develop and manage social media calendar based on key Museum educational content and relevant social conversation for all Museum platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Research, produce, schedule and deploy social media content, including short-form videos
  • Assist with development of social media strategy
  • Stay abreast of ever-changing social media trends/landscape
  • Monitor and engage in social conversations aligned with the brand
  • Identify, connect and build new communities of interests and advocates across social platforms to grow social media channels
  • Build and execute social media campaigns as outlined in the strategy
  • Evaluate, track and report performance across social platforms, optimize engagement strategies based on learnings
  • Collaborate with multimedia producer to generate video stories, highlights and live videos for social media
  • Provide social coverage of Museum events as needed

Website & Email

  • Work within the Museum’s digital platforms, including but not limited to WordPress (website CMS), Mail Dog (email), and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (email), plus media/web agencies
  • Build, test and deploy marketing emails; collaborate on CRM initiatives
  • Maintain digital content on partner websites
  • Distribute and/or upload monthly Museum events calendars to media and “to do” community websites
  • Collaborate with Visitor Experience department on Dali Museum App to ensure consistencies with digital properties, assist with analysis as needed
  • Assist with data gathering for analysis of digital metrics
  • Assist with web, email and other digital content creation, publishing and website/email enhancements

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in social media in-platform and third-party scheduling/listening/reporting apps
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet simultaneous deadlines
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Excellent communication, proofreading skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency with and/or ability to learn Content Management System(s), web and email management systems and databases

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years professional digital marketing and/or web and/or social media experience
  • Experience in creating and producing content/campaigns for social media and/or web; DIY video editing a plus
  • Experience in visual arts, cultural, educational, nonprofit or similar setting preferred
  • Available for occasional work at night/weekends and/or holidays, as dictated by Museum event schedules

JOB TITLE: Part-time Seasonal Visitor Experience Specialist
REPORTS TO: Visitor Experience Management
DEPARTMENT: Visitor Experience
STATUS: Non-exempt
SALARY: $11/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interact with visitors at various locations within the Museum
    Process admission tickets
    Process memberships
    Guide visitors using the Museum’s app
    Assist with equipment maintenance
    Assist visitors with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) use
    Assist with Museum special events

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Customer service skills
    Interpersonal communication skills
    Point of Sales Systems knowledge
    Comfortable with technology
    Proficiency with computer business programs (word/outlook)
    Comfortable in a dynamic work environment
    Bi-lingual an asset but not required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

  • Point of Sales Systems
    High School Diploma
    Customer Service

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS 

  • Legal age, ID, and documentation
    Subject to background check
    Commit to working between 15-20 hours weekly
    Ability to work on a Saturday or Sunday weekly
    Ability to work Thanksgiving weekend
    Ability to work 12/26 – 12/31
    Desire to become knowledgeable about the Museum, its collection and the artist, Salvador Dalí
