School Tours

School Tours

The school tours program includes a one-hour private docent-led tour of the largest comprehensive collection of the works of Salvador Dali, outside of his native Spain. The gallery tour covers his early works, influenced by Impressionism and Cubism, his Surrealist Period, and his later works including his Classic and Nuclear Mystic Periods. Tours are designed to be age appropriate for elementary, middle, and high school students.

Complimentary School Tours
During the school year, K-12th Grade school groups may be eligible to receive waived admission fees and a docent-led tour. The complimentary school tour program is available Tuesday-Fridays during the school year at 10:00am and 11:00am. In order to provide an optimal gallery experience for every student, a maximum of 60 students and 6 complimentary chaperones can fill each time slot. Complimentary tours must be scheduled in advance and are filled on a first come, first served basis. The following additional times are available at general group admission prices:

  • Students age 6-12: $5.50 each
  • Students age 13-17: $12.00 each
  • Chaperones: $18.75 each

Please note that should your group arrive late, your tour will be shortened to accommodate the amount of time left in your designated hour. Early arrivals will not be able to enter the galleries until the assigned time. Please note some of the following guidelines:

  • School groups are limited to 60 students per tour time.
  • One teacher or chaperone per 10 students will receive complimentary admission. Additional chaperones may attend at a reduced admission fee of $18.75.

Please be conscious of the weather on the day of your trip.
