Summer Fundraiser, Saturday, August 23rd 8-11pm
St. Petersburg, FL (June 24, 2014) – The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL has announced that its fourth annual Liquid Desires Craft Beer Party will take place on Saturday, August 23rd from 8 to 11pm at the Museum. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, June 30th.
The popular fundraising event is hosted by The Dali’s Zodiac Membership Committee – a dedicated group of members committed to helping the Museum engage the community and expand its reach. Dali Museum members receive a discounted pre-sale ticket cost of $40 per person until June 29. General admission tickets, $50/person, and VIP Tickets, $85/person, are available at TheDali.org/liquid.
The 4th annual Liquid Desires Craft Beer Party celebrates Florida breweries and other unique craft brews with a vibe mirroring Dali’s fascination with double images, in celebration of the new exhibit, Marvels of Illusion. Attendees will sample a wide variety of craft beers – with access to the brewers themselves – along with food samples from trendy local eateries plus dancing! “The Museum prides itself on delighting our guests, with all-things inspired by Dali himself. This craft beer event is more than a tasting – it’s a party!” said Kathy Greif, Dalí Museum Marketing Director.
This year’s event brings together locally and nationally renowned craft breweries including Cigar City Brewing Co., Duvel Moortgat, Green Bench Brewing Co., JDub’s Brewing Co., Rapp Brewing Co., St. Pete Brewing Co., Three Palms Brewing Co., and many more. “Everyone at Coppertail Brewing Co. is especially excited about this event,” said Kent Bailey, President and Founder of Coppertail Brewing Co., opening in Ybor City this summer. “Imagine feasting your eyes on an amazing Dalí painting while the lush flavors of local craft beer play across your palette. That’s hedonism at its finest!”
General Admission tickets include unlimited beer and food tastings, a commemorative tasting glass, giveaways from participating vendors, a raffle with hotel stays and more, free valet parking plus full access to the permanent collection & special exhibition galleries.
A limited number of VIP tickets include early access to the party at 7pm, swag bags, exclusive small batch tastings and a special presentation by three esteemed craft beer aficionados: Joey Redner, Owner of Cigar City Brewing Co., Tom Williams, Co-Owner of St. Pete Brewing Co., and Jeremy Joerger, Owner of JDub’s Brewery Co.
