The Dalí Presents the 4th Annual Los Vinos de Dalí Wine & Food Event
St. Petersburg, Fla. (February 23, 2014) – The Dalí proudly hosts its fourth annual wine and food tasting, Los Vinos de Dalí, on Sunday April 12th from 3-6 pm. Guests enjoy boutique vintners pouring their finest, mixed with an array of tapas tastings from the area’s top restaurants, all against the backdrop of The Dalí’s beautiful Avant-garden. Tickets also include access to the Museum’s galleries including the special exhibition Dalí and da Vinci: Minds, Machines and Masterpieces.
Created by event organizer and Dalí Museum Guild Member Sandy Tarazski, Los Vinos de Dalí specializes in featuring boutique and undiscovered vintners sourced directly from California’s wine country and other regions. “Los Vinos is like an intimate gathering of food and wine lovers who appreciate unique wines as much as the stories of the wineries behind them,” said Tarazski. “The event provides attendees with the rare opportunity to meet the vintners themselves while discovering new favorites.”
This year’s Los Vinos de Dalí welcomes the Laird Family Estate, a custom crush winery in Napa Valley, who has been growing premium grapes in the Napa Valley since 1970. Some of the other unique wineries at this year’s event include the Masciarelli Wine Company, Uptick Wines, 2880 Napa Valley Wines, and returning this year, guest favorite – Robinson Family Vineyards, known especially for their Cabernet and Merlot, but even more so for their winemaking traditions.
The culinary offerings at Los Vinos de Dalí are raved about year after year and include some of the best local restaurants. Making a debut at this year’s Los Vinos is Locale Gourmet Market, the brainchild of celebrity chefs Michael Mina and Don Pintabona. Fan favorites returning include Parkshore Grill, The Birchwood’s Birch & Vine and Il Ritorno amongst many others.
