Dali on Tour is an exhibition of poster reproductions of works from the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. Dali on Tour is on exhibit until Friday, September 30, 2011 at Westfield Countryside Mall in Clearwater, Florida. The Westfield exhibit also features a cheerful, dramatic paper-maché burning giraffe, that was created by Dali Museum staff artist Vickie Brunner in homage to Dali's enigmatic symbol. Westfield Countryside will be featuring free family fun arts-and-crafts Dali inspired activities, performances and movies during this exhibit period. Go to www.westfield.com for a complete schedule of activities, or visit the concierge desk at Westfield Countryside Mall (727.796.1079).
Dali on Tour is perfect for temporary display in libraries, shopping malls, conference rooms, waiting and common rooms. 31 reproductions from the museum's permanent collection make up the suite of works.
Each image is beautifully framed and is accompanied with informative labeling incorporated in museum-style wall placards giving intriguing notes about each piece. This unique collection of poster reproductions showcase the incredible depth of Salvador Dali's creativity.

"DaliVision" Outreach Program
If your group or organization can't visit the museum, then please consider inviting the museum to visit you. With a little advance notice-and with no cost to you-the museum can schedule a trained docent to visit with slides or posters to best suit your needs.
Museum docents regularly visit senior groups, churches, convalescent homes, social and service clubs in Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Manatee and Sarasota counties. Depending on availability, our docents can also make special theme-oriented presentations (e.g., Dali and religion, Dali and women, Dali and science, etc.).
For more information on supporting or taking part in this program, or to book a docent for your group, please contact the Education Department at 727.823.3767.
