Creatures of Z Night

Saturday, Nov. 11, 6:30–9:30pm
  • This event has passed.

Each month, The Dali Museum’s Zodiac Membership Committee hosts special events.

In November, Zodiac Committee members Suz’Anna Lyons and Shandi Lancaster host an exciting evening event at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve.

Creatures of Z Night provides a special private nighttime experience for Dali Museum members. Enjoy light bites, with a full cash bar at the Lake Maggiore Indoor/Outdoor Environmental Education Center.

Park experts will mingle with featured creatures of the night, sharing information and stories about the animals, while small groups will break off and embark on night hikes to meet some interesting residents of the preserve.

Learn about Boyd Hill Nature Preserve’s most misunderstood critters (like owls, bats, lizards and snakes) as the experts dispel myths and share some of the amazing and endearing qualities of these animals.

Bring your flashlights and headlamp gear to search for owls, bats and alligators and to stargaze.

Cost: $25 per person
Capacity: 50
Location: Boyd Hill Nature Preserve
Lake Maggiore Environmental Education Center
1101 Country Club Way S
St. Petersburg, FL 33705
