Coffee with a Curator: Visions of Dali’s Spain

Tuesday, Jul. 03, 10:30–11:30am

Coffee with a Curator is a focused, theme-oriented presentation on a variety of Dali-related topics. The talk is presented by one of The Dali Museum’s Curatorial/Education team or an invited speaker.

Clyde Butcher: Visions of Dali’s Spain
Join us on July 3 for an introductory presentation on our newest special exhibition, Clyde Butcher: Visions of Dali’s Spain. Peter Tush, Curator of the exhibition, will discuss how this collaboration between a renowned nature photographer and The Dali Museum began. The talk will include discussion on the significance of the Mediterranean landscape to Dali and his art and examine how Butcher’s large-scale, black and white photographs offer a new perspective to the landscape.

Cost: Free (parking is free for members as available; $10 parking for nonmembers)
Location: Raymond James Community Room (overflow seating available in the Will Raymund Theater)

Supported by AARP Tampa Bay, the City of St. Petersburg Arts and Culture Grant and Cafe Gala.
