Frida Kahlo Legacy: Gender Studies in Art History
We invite you to join us for a talk by Katherine Brion, Assistant Professor of Art History and affiliate of the Gender Studies Program at New College of Florida, who will situate Frida Kahlo’s various challenges to traditional gender roles within the early twentieth-century artistic avant-gardes, as well as examine the artist’s legacy for subsequent explorations of gender in art and art history.

Cost: Free (parking is free for members; $10 parking for non-members)
Location: Raymond James Community Room

Coffee with a Curator is sponsored by Cafe Gala.
