Coffee with a Curator – Elise Trucks: “Dali, Freud & Sherlock Holmes” – 10:30 AM

Wednesday, May. 7th, 10:30AM–11:30AM
  • This event has passed.

Coffee with a Curator is a focused, theme-oriented presentation on a variety of Dali-related topics. The talk is presented by one of the Dali Museum’s Curatorial/Education team or guest speaker.

For this much-anticipated talk, we feature guest speaker Elise Trucks, adjunct Art History Professor at the University of Tampa. She will examine Dali’s remarkable approach to irrational logic in relation to the late 19th century worlds of psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud and the deductive reasoning of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes.

Cost: Free. Series takes place in the Community Room or Theater.
