Andy Warhol’s Time Capsules: A Talk with Warhol Museum Chief Archivist Matt Wrbican
The Warhol Museum’s chief archivist will discuss Warhol’s largest conceptual art work, his Time Capsules. Started as a solution to housekeeping, Warhol’s project became a daily obsession and grew to encompass over 600 containers (nearly all simple cardboard boxes) filled with 300,000 objects. The talk will focus on one of the most compelling ‘boxes’ in the series, touching on Warhol’s childhood, his early commercial art success, his Campbell’s Soup Cans, and his superstars.

Cost: $5 General; Free to Dali Members. No RSVP required. First come, first serve. Overflow in the Community Room.
